McCoy takes her hand in his, offering her a firm but gentle handshake before pulling away. He doesn't smile, or offer any other sort of friendly gesture, that's just simply not in his nature. Outwardly, anyway. But the fact that he's willing to escort her here and make sure she's alright spoke volumes for his character. He simply cares to much about others to do anything less.

"Well, it's always good to know a doctor, figured I'd get that out of the way so you didn't have to guess." He responds, then leads the way toward the little emergency room.
