A Cybertronian jet that looked a little too battle scarred quietly landed in the docking bay of the Teuberg. The intricate and brightly colored paint had been torn and bitten into by laserfire and impacts and what appeared to be the remains of an attempt to put motorcycle handles on him.
Proetus' trip has actually started off rather brilliantly. With some help from Quark, he'd managed to secure quite the beneficial deal. All it needed was some of Sentinel's credits, some charisma, and a promise of confidential Fleet Secrets. Was it entirely to their trade partner's benefit? Maybe not. But they were going to end up with a massive amount of credits for it and thats what mattered.
That is, until the waves of what was it - Space Bikers? - yes, them. Until they arrived, and ruined everything. Everything. Now he was several hundred of Sentinel's credits short, looking like some low-caste mine worker that had an argument with his digging equipment, and had no immediate plan to bounce back from the total, utter failure that had been The Black Eye of Sharef. The meager reward he and Quark both got for accidentally rescuing a shopkeeper seemed to just make it worse.
Needless to say, be it by the sound of the jet transforming or by the look on his face after, Proteus was in a foul mood. He just wanted a hot oil bath and a good buffing and repainting before even touching his next plan of action. Sure, he probably should be thankful he escaped with his life, but he was now poorer than he entered, and that?
That would ruin any self-respecting Senator's day.
