"Oh no," Pinoko murmured. "Sir!" she called, looking at the wreckage. "Are you... well it is clear that you aren't all right... but are you alive? Is anyone alive?"

Her voice might have sounded a little small on that last bit. But she took a breath, trying to calm herself down.

"Pinoko is a nurse!" And oh, did she sound more confident than she felt. "So I can tend anyone who is injured." Please please let that be true.
