A booming noise entered the fray, coming from an old style shotgun. After a couple shots, it was cut off by a pulsing noise. Around the corner came two heavily armored AFLAK agents, who sprinted for the base and hopped over the cover so they could use it for themselves. Judging by the amount of fire, there were still plenty of creatures out there.
