Or the even more hideous shirt Tsumugi found. Really, he was going to end up with a pile of template-clothes in self-defense.
Of course, the indigo denim almost required a rust-red shirt to counter-balance it, long-sleeved because it was just plain uncomfortable to have too much of his shell exposed at once, both vulnerability and invitation for too much sensory feedback. He was careful of texture, too, avoiding anything that felt too rough... but that led to its own small sensory overload where the colors didn't.
