[Those of you who made the journey to Terabel will recognize the being on the broadcast as one of its winged inhabitants. She sits at a luxurious desk, dressed in simple but well-made robes; clearly this is a person of some importance. Her oddly-shaped jaw opens horizontally as she begins to speak in a raspy yet somehow cultured voice.]
Greetings, citizens of the Scutum-Crux Fleet. I am Labismat, High Councillor of the City of Terabel. Your Sub-Fleet's bravery and quick-thinking are the reasons I am able to speak to you today. I, and the rest of Terabel, thank you for this. We are only a small city, but we are all that is left of our home planet. Your aid means that our entire culture will continue to survive. Truly, you are heroes.
[She bows her head somberly before continuing.]
Your scientists have proposed modifications to our city that will allow us to finally reach a suitable planet for our habitation. It is an incredible plan, and we are honored to have your Science Captain McEngineer's assistance, but it will require substantial resources and helping hands.
You have done more than enough for us already. We cannot hope to repay you properly. However, we do have some gifts to offer for those who would spare us just a little more of their time.
[Her face moves into what must be her races' equivalent of a smile. It involves a lot of sharp teeth.]
Your Fleet Admiral has informed me that we will soon be passing by a planet rich in many of the materials Terabel will need. If you are able to assist us when we arrive there, please contact me or my fellow Councillors. We will repay your work well. Thank you.
