[The young girl on the video feed looks down at it awkwardly, nervously fussing with her hair.]

Hi. I just got here, or I just woke up, and...um, there was supposed to be someone else here with me? He's a little taller than me [she motions with her hand], and he has these long dreadlocks [again, motions] and he wears a black respirator over his face. It covers his nose and mouth. His name is Rail. And I'm Moa.

If anyone sees him, can you tell him I'm up? And I'm looking for him? And Rail, if you're watching this, then....

[She pouts suddenly, in the manner of someone who's just realized that they're being made fun of.]

Then I'm looking for you, jerk!

If you don't get a response, it's still quite possible this person is here, but has yet to awaken.

[and her face brightens up.]

I hadn't thought about that. Is there a way to...look at the asleep people? I mean, they're somewhere nearby, right?

The official word is that we're not to disturb them. Some fear about "contamination" or some such.

[ His tone of voice and expression should make it abundantly clear what he thinks about that. ]

[And she goes back to looking upset.]

Contamination? But we're not sick or anything. Can't they look for people for us? How do you...how do you talk to them on this thing? [She's never had a phone before...:|b ]

You could petition the mayor, I suppose. The Honorable Maria Masters is her name, you'll find her in your directory. Or Mister Graham Baker, you probably spoke to him when you awoke, he's acting as a sort of liaison.

[ Quietly: ]

Maria Masters in my directory...okay...[she's not totally techno-illiterate, so she can probably figure it out.] Oh, I think Graham was the one who gave me that glass of water at the meeting. He seemed nice. Maybe I can talk to him.

[UNCERTAIN...except she's not uncertain about what he's suggesting. But she doesn't want to consider that possibility.] wh....at do you mean?

[ His voice is even, almost careless. ]

We might never find our way home. If that is so, and this person you are seeking is not here, on this ship, it means that you will never see him again. If you do find him, there's no guarantee he'll wake up, and you'll be left waiting, uncertain.

[Aw man you had to say it. And then some other bad stuff. She can't really stomach the idea of not seeing Rail again, so she latches onto the other issue.]

[ Straight away, he adds: ]

I'm joking, of course. I believe the only answer anyone can make with certainty is that we simply don't know. 'Twas an accident that brought us here, so they say. Which means that sorting it out might take some time.

Accidents can be fixed...[She says with uncertainty, because what he just said is perfectly true so she can't really argue against it. She's quiet for a few moments.]

...he would come look for me. If he were the one here, and I was asleep or gone.

[ He doesn't reply immediately, letting the silence between them unwind for a time. Presently: ]

Dear me. How thoughtless. I should have introduced myself ages ago. My name is Xerxes Break.

Oh - um - it's nice to meet you, Xerxes. Thanks for helping me. [(did he help was that helping. honestly not sure. but idk man being polite.)]

Why are you confident that he is here?

Because...we're always together. [she says with an uncertain look on her face. Don't make her more nervous, Wrathion ;u; ] And we were right next to each other when I got...taken...so it would make sense that he'd get taken too.

I see. Well then, I am sure that the fleet will not mind you looking through those yet to awaked, will they?

[ He has no idea if they will or not. And couldn't care less if she does get the chance, but he does sort of ant to see if they would allow it ]

I'm gonna ask. Or maybe they can find him for me, if they don't want me to do it myself. They seemed nice enough at the meeting, so...

I'll tell you what they say. [She's thinking that he does care if she gets the chance, because she's naive like that. :|b Oh well, he'll get the info either way, right?] Um, if I can find out how to call them.
