Who: Marty and Kay

Where: The Market and possibly the Sky Park

When: A few days before the event starts

The other day Marty got a call from Kay asking if they wanted to hang out sometime. Marty was unsure about it at first, because it sounded a lot like Kay was asking him out, but he was reassured that it was just a buddy thing. He still wasn't positive about this whole thing, but it seemed innocent enough, despite how weird Kay seemed, and he can always just turn her down in case it got too weird for him.

And so right now he was waiting just outside the Market, seeing if he can find Kay anywhere. He figured it wouldn't be too hard, Kay had unique enough clothing to not really blend into the crowd at all. Honestly he was so surprised that he got here on time that he didn't even mind having to look for her all that much.

[As for Kay herself, it wasn't so much as she was running late as she was attempting to fight the Market in the first place. Despite her initial run through the ship to get landmarks in place in her mind, she honestly still kind of messed up every now and then.

So when she arrives, it's without any grand entrance other than 'I swear I took a right at the bar'. HI MARTY.]

[Friendly hand wave as she catches her breath.]

[Gosh Kay, it's saying something when you're later to something than Marty. He doesn't look too annoyed though, the novelty of this place hasn't worn off yet so he was pretty distracted by looking around while waiting.

He just shrugs at her question.]
