When awakening, you'll find the area you're in to be very busy. The people in the medical ward are polite and understanding, but firmly refuse to answer questions until the briefing. The same goes for the robots in the hangars. Either given hospital outfits resembling very comfortable pajamas, drone bodies, or their own bodies, they are escorted by polite, unyielding people in red and black uniforms to the briefing room.

The room is large, but not quite large enough for some of the bigger Cybertronians. They've been given drone bodies at least, skinny little things with no real features beyond primitive masks made of paper plates. There's seats for everyone, at least, well-cushioned and comfortable, and the room is pleasantly lit.

A few Security personnel, dressed in their red and black uniforms, stand at ease in the rooms in strategic areas. Three men stand at the head. One is Graham Baker, a slightly nervous-seeming middle-aged man wearing a multi-layered business suit that seems rumpled and oversized. The other two men are dressed in military uniforms, one with the blue undershirt and piping of Command, while the other wears the gold of Science.

"Ha!" Odo was right. Deadlock is trying to involve him in his politics. Odo doesn't care for politics.

"You will not continue your war here."

Deadlock's grasp of politics is shaky at best. All he wants to know is who he can shoot. Which apparently here means 'no one'.

His life sucks.

"Listen, meatsack, I spent a fraggin' week in a hangar with an Autobot. If I was gonna start something, it probably would have been then." Because Flashpoint was annoying. Compared to Mr Charming Deadlock.

"You look like you're the one who's starting something if you see someone you don't like. I'm here to prevent that."

Odo doesn't know what an Autobot is, besides being Deadlock's species, but he doesn't care. Besides, he's seen war, and he doesn't want it to be brought here. There are way too many people here who might be affected.

"If there's someone I don't like here, I got a reason not to like them." An impeccable logic, isn't it? Robots: superior logic and all.

"Ha! And you think you can bring chaos here because you don't like someone?"

Really, Deadlock will end up sounding like Quark if he goes on any further.

"Wouldn't be chaos." Sheesh, stop overreacting. Just a nice quiet energy round through the head. "And if I don't like someone, they've fraggin' done something to deserve it, if I go do something about it. I don't like you and you're still talking." And not, say a charred/greasy spot on the floor. See? He's so civilized and scrap.

"Ha! There's Security for that." Odo might feel the same about Quark, but he doesn't go out of his way to start trouble; he only watches for when Quark will start.

That 'ha' better be about Deadlock's amazing and hilarious sense of humor.

"Security. Which isn't you. Yet. Yeah, got it." Crabby robot is crabby, because this guy is ruining his fun. What's a little robot-on-robot violence, huh?

"Trust me, if I run into someone worth killing, I ain't gonna care what Security does to me afterwards as long as he's dead." Deadlock may just be the type to hold a grudge.

Odo scoffs.

When he has an idea.

He morphs into a robot similar to Deadlock and the few others he's seen, and about as tall.

"You won't care?"

That is a terrible idea. Because what the frag is going on here? Organics are organics and Cybertronians are cybertronians ~~and thus superior~~ and. Just. What.

"The frag kind of trick is this?"

Other than not a very nice one.

Odo is a Changeling, but he's not going to tell you yet.

"It is not a trick." Ha.

"Sure it is." Liar liar, robopants on fire. "Just a projection or something." Excuse him while he pokes you in the chest to prove his point. See? Just an illusion....?

Odo doesn't even deign to morph liquid. See, it's all real. Any sensor would see a Cybertronian in front of you.

However, he's not impressed. He sighs.

...the frag. Welp, squishy, you kind of just blew his tiny mind. And are not squishy anymore because that sure is a metallic 'thunk' under his fingertip. This can only mean one thing.

"You one of Jhiaxus's experiments or something?" Freeeeaky.

Odo sighs angrily. "I am not an experiment." Deadlock may have never seen a Changeling, but still.

"You're not Cybertronian, though. Because we don't do...that." Hhn. "Unless that's one of those holomatter things." That's right, the organic thing is just a projection.

"I do that." Odo doesn't want to discuss this. He's tired of this conversation already. He sighs.

Is he sighing in Deadlock's general direction? HDU.

"So, what. You a mutant or something?" Because Deadlock has ALL the tact.

Odo sighs and rolls his eyes. "No, I'm not a mutant."

Frag, don't do that optic-rolly thing. Looks all kinds of freaky.

"Getting tired of fraggin' guessing games." Guess what Deadlock does when he gets tired of things? Things tend to get shot.

Oh, right. "I'm a Changeling. I can change shapes." And Odo takes his humanoid form again.

That's when he notices the weapon. Oh, dear...

So, like a Transformer, which transforms, only....small and weird. Got it.

"Stop doing that! IT's weird." Deadlock's not so good at wrapping his tiny mind around new things.

But he can't shoot something small and squishy...can he?

Odo sighs and rolls his eyes. He would have to help people get used to his species in every universe? People are just the same everywhere. He knows that, his species is one of the worse representatives of this tendency. But it's still annoying.

Yeah, well, Deadlock's not really read up on alternate species. They all die if you shoot 'em, and that's generally all he needs to know.

"What? So, you can like turn into anyone?" He squints, trying to figure this guy out, and never mind that he's being quiet. That just means he wants to answer questions. Or something.

"I'n not good at faces." Odo sighs. He doesn't mention his species did impersonate people, including his friends. The Cybertronian looks scared enough.
